Election!
~This election really surprised many people. No one expected the Democratic Party to win the the Senate and the House. With Democrats in control we also have a new speaker of the House, and for the first time in history it is a woman, Nancy Pelosi. http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/11/08/pelosi.speaker/index.html.
Many people say that the reason the Democrats won was because Americans want a change. I think that a change will America because the moral of our country has been taken down because of the war. If Bush can work with the Democrats our country might change for the better!
